We scored some clearance tie-dye shirts and we couldn’t resist!
Please note: these are not the typical shirts we use. They’re a basic shirt, with a looser, boxier cut, and they do shrink a bit—as much as 1” in our experience. (And as always with tie-dye, throw it in the dryer first to help keep the color from fading, and don’t wash it with light colors the first couple times in case the dye bleeds.)
They’re also definitely a “clearance buy”—the shirts themselves have some small flaws, things like inconsistent dye colors between sizes and cut stitching in the collar seams (we’re guessing from where the tie-dye company removed the original shirt labels.) No holes or cuts in the fabric, or anything that would be visible while wearing the shirt. Take a look at the extra pictures for details—the 3X tees are the ones that look more “candy corn” colored that gold tie dye, and some of the tank tops have the collar stitching issue.
That said, they’re priced accordingly. We think they’re still plenty cool enough to make it into our lineup, so we cleaned out our blank shirt supplier. When they’re gone, they’re gone!
